Violation of this rule will result in a penalty fee and immediate cancellation of the reservation. • Any damage or soiling of the property or its contents must be reported immediately. While insurance may cover certain incidents, in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct, guests will be charged the full cost of repairs or replacement. • Shoes must be removed at the entrance. Guests are required to remain barefoot, wear socks, or use the slippers provided while inside the property. ⸻ 🚭 No Smoking Policy • Smoking, including electronic cigarettes, is strictly prohibited throughout the property. • Violation will result in a cleaning fee of ¥50,000 and may lead to immediate cancellation of the reservation and eviction. ⸻ 🔥 Fire Safety and Liability • Guests must exercise strict care when using any items involving fire, such as candles, incense, gas stoves, or heaters. • In the event of a fire caused by guest negligence or misuse, the guest shall be held fully liable for all damages and costs, including but not limited to repairs to the building, replacement of equipment, and compensation for losses suffered by third parties. ⸻ 🪜 Safety Notice About Using the Stairs • The stairs in this property are designed in accordance with Japanese residential standards and may be narrower and steeper than those found in other countries. Guests must use the handrail and walk on the wider side of the steps at all times. • Particular caution is required when carrying luggage or using the stairs at night. Children and elderly guests must be accompanied by an adult. • The property shall not be held responsible for any injuries, falls, or fatalities resulting from the use of the stairs. ⸻ 🗑 Garbage Disposal • Guests are required to sort and dispose of garbage in accordance with the instructions provided and deposit it at the designated location. • Failure to comply, resulting in garbage left inside the property causing odors, pest infestations, or damage, will incur a special cleaning fee of ¥50,000. ⸻ 🦟 Bugs & Environment • Due to Japan’s humid climate, insects may occasionally enter the property when windows or doors are opened. While regular pest control measures are in place, guests are requested to use the insect spray provided if necessary. • Refunds or discounts will not be provided for issues related to insects. ⸻ 🔊 Noise & Odors • Sensitivity to noise and odors varies among individuals. External factors such as neighborhood sounds, construction noise, and odors from outside are beyond the control of the property and do not constitute grounds for refunds or discounts. • In case of concerns regarding odors or cleanliness inside the property, guests must notify the host immediately for a joint inspection. Refunds will not be issued if guests check out without prior consultation. ⸻ 🔑 Damages & Losses • Lost keys: A replacement fee of ¥50,000 will be charged. • Broken windows: A fee of ¥50,000 per pane will be charged. ⸻ Dyeing hair is strictly prohibited. If hair dye stains are found in the bathroom, a cleaning fee of ¥10,000 will be charged to cover professional cleaning ⸻ ⚠️ Disclaimer • The property shall not be liable for any inconvenience or damages caused by force majeure events, including but not limited to natural disasters, power outages, or disturbances in the neighborhood. • Guests are solely responsible for their valuables.
