Hudson Valley Estate at Birdsall Farmhouse

Step into a lovingly restored Colonial Revival farmhouse that perfectly blends rustic charm with contemporary comforts. The space The house is a three story colonial house. One bedroom is on the ground level. It features a king bed, an ensuite bath, and a work area as well. This space is accessible to outside as well as a staircase to the main living area of the house. Ascend the staircase to the main level where you will find the living spaces during your stay. A well-stocked kitchen for your gastro pleasures greets you at the top of the stairs. There is access from the kitchen to a patio/deck with table, chairs and umbrella. This also has a gas grill to barbecue. The chef’s kitchen is quite large with all the cooking amenities and a large table to seat your whole party. A formal dining room leads off of the kitchen for additional seating or an elevated dining experience. The formal dining rooms opens into a formal living room fully appointed and stocked with books for your enjoyment. Across the hall is a media room with a wide-screen TV and a large sectional sofa that is perfect for watching movies or sports, and a gaming table sits in the corner for all to enjoy. Finally, there is the newly renovated full bathroom with a soaking tub and a Moroccan-tiled walk-in shower. Another half bath is in the primary bedroom on the third level. Ascend another large staircase off the grand hallway to the bedroom level 3. A large corridor with 4 more bedrooms awaits: The primary ensuite with king size bed and a half bath, another king size bedroom, a queen size bedroom and a double bedroom with two twin beds. This floor has a main bath with a clawfoot tub and full walk-in shower. A sitting room or a quiet office space is located off the corridor as well. For our extended guests of 4 or more days, there's a laundry room. Please inquire about access to laundry room, if your stay is less than 4 days. In addition to the barbecue space just off of the kitchen, there's a meticulously maintained lighted hot tub steps up a short walk-way from BBQ deck. Towels are provided for hot tub in the kitchen. There's a fire pit for your pleasure as well, close by. Please use responsibly. Guest access The whole house is included in the rental. 3 king size bed, 1 queen and 1 bedroom with two twin beds. Other things to note Please do not enter the barn spaces, feel free to walk around and view from outside. If your stay is 4 nights or greater, our laundry facilities are available to you. If not staying with us more than 4 nights, we offer the option for laundry for a $50 flat fee. Laundry soap is provided as well. Please let us know if you need this amenity for your shorter stay. We will arrange to have it open for your party.
