Getaway on this 300+ (with 700+ available nearby) acre working farm. Explore pastures, woodlands, rock cliffs and beautiful vistas while looking for wildlife (hiking has some restrictions Sept to Dec) . Enjoy a picnic or evening fire listening to whip poor wills at the campground located on the property; or have a peaceful cup of coffee on the porch. Traveling with your horse /ATV, ask about available stall and trail access. Located between Paintsville, Yatesville and Grayson lakes. The space Main bedroom has a queen bed; 2nd bedroom has a full bed. One bathroom has a standing shower and is accessed through the 2nd bedroom and one bathroom has a tub/shower. The water pressure at the house is low and one of the toilets requires the handle to be held down during flushing. Also, there are different types of flooring in the house so there are some transitions. A microwave, toaster oven, coffee/tea service and basic condiments are provided. This is a working farm and occasionally animals may be loose. There is an extension cord from the house to the electric fence controller and an electric fence runs near the house. The area is rural. Guest access There are hiking/ATV/horse trails. Information and seasonally specific instructions are available on request. Access to some areas of both properties may be limited during hunting season. Other things to note There is a community playground a short walk from the unit.
