Escape to our 15 acre property. Our 2 bedroom, 1.5 bathroom house offers the beauty of the great outdoors with easy access off of Highway 1. The fully equipped kitchen has all the essentials you need to prepare meals or take advantage of BBQing on the deck. The town of Golden is 15 minutes away, kickinghorse resort 25 minutes away and Banff is a quick 1.75 hour drive. You are welcome to take the quick walk down to the Blaeberry River or simply relax and enjoy being in nature. The space Come relax in our 2 bedroom 1.5 bathroom house. The house will sleep 4 people. Head up stairs for the full bathroom with shower and large bedroom with Queen size bed. 2nd bedroom and a powder room are on the main floor. All linens and towels are available for you! **Please note there are about 12 steps to get upstairs Kitchen has the essentials Full size fridge Keurig coffee maker with pods Microwave Full size oven Dining table Washer and dryer also available WIFI is available and a smart tv ready for you to sit back and relax after a day of exploring! We also have a propane fire pit for your use - please message host if you would like it. Let us know if you are traveling with an infant as we have a crib, high chair and a pack and play available upon request! We do live on the property adjacent (50 yards) from the airbnb so you will see us around! If you see us outside you are more then welcome to come say hi !! Very quick access to the house from hwy 1, being close to the highway you may hear some highway noise from the trucks driving by. We are close to train tracks as well, they do run day and night, you will hear the horn. You also may hear gun fire periodically as we are in close distance to a rifle range. Guest access You are more then welcome to walk down to the river, there are steep cliffs around so we ask you to please be careful. Please be aware the river does move quite quickly, do not enter the water. It is a bit steep walking down and back up so please only do so if you are able. We do live on site so you may see us out and about! You have access to the entire house. Parking is just outside. Other things to note We are in the forest, wild animals are around, please be cautious - no food or garbage left outside please. Our neighbors do have weddings on the weekends during the summer. You may hear some noise/music but it is off in the distance. We do have a propane fire pit available, we ask no real fires please. Please message hosts if you would like the fire pit.
