The space The Barn at the Limes is part of the newly converted buildings that also form part of the Limes Art School and Gallery. During the week there maybe art classes in the studio next door.. The space has been lovingly renovated to provide luxurious and comfortable accommodation worthy of its beautiful setting. The Barn is in a private position surrounded by 60 acres of fields and gardens, with stunning views in every direction. The property boasts a large, open plan, living space with bifold doors onto a terrace overlooking wildflower meadows and orchards. An additional west facing outside dining area with BBQ overlooks fields and offers the perfect spot for enjoying the evening sun. A fully fitted kitchen is well equipped and stocked with the basic necessities. A groceries/welcome package can be arranged in advance, if required, including delicious wines (Sarah's husband is a wine merchant), please contact Sarah to arrange. The large dining table gives room to sprawl. There is a separate boot room and downstairs cloakroom giving ample space to store coats and boots. Upstairs there is spacious bedroom with beautiful views and a gorgeous ensuite. All of the furnishings are of the highest quality, from the bed linen and the Super-king Loaf bed to the linen sofas and original artwork. There is a library of books, maps, magazines and games to enjoy. Weeton and the local area is truly stunning, there are village activities including the Weeton Show (July), The Great Yorkshire Show, Open gardens and Studios, as well as the Stately homes such as Harewood, Newby Hall and Castle Howard to visit. Gorgeous local walks take you through woods, alongside rivers, up to the Almscliffe crag and local pubs. Public Transport wise we are 15 minutes from Leeds Bradford Airport and there is easy access to Harrogate, Leeds and York via the local train or the buses which are a 5 minute walk from the accommodation. Guest access Guests have sole use of the Barn and surrounding outside spaces including two terraces and walks through the surrounding fields.
