The space Our spacious and elegant period home, is a true gem nestled in a vibrant and convenient neighbourhood. This is a large 5-bedroom house, but 1 room will be closed off during your stay to house the owners’ personal belongings, and another has been converted into the office, so 3 double bedrooms are available to sleep. Despite being in a super well connected part of London, you close the door and feel very quiet and relaxed. It boasts 2.5 bathrooms, a dedicated office room, and a plethora of amenities to ensure a comfortable and memorable stay. Spanning over 200 square meters (2150 square feet), our home offers ample space for relaxation and entertainment. As you step inside, you'll be greeted by a separate sitting room, providing a cosy retreat for quiet evenings or lively conversations. The heart of our home lies in the open-plan kitchen, living room, and dining area, where modern design seamlessly blends with period charm. This inviting space comfortably seats 8 guests, making it ideal for gatherings and shared meals. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need - double oven, fridge, freezer, kettle, toaster, cafetière coffee and grinder, blender, air fryer, slow cooker etc. You are welcome to use any condiments/oils etc for cooking. The fridge is always sparkling clean for you. We have a 65in brand new TV and Bluetooth surround sound system. Large doors open out to the garden, where you'll find a BBQ and plush seating, perfect for alfresco dining or soaking up the sun. A convenient downstairs toilet and utility room equipped with a washing machine, clothes hanger, and tumble dryer add to the convenience of your stay. On the first floor, you will find a dedicated office with two computer screens, providing a productive workspace for remote work or leisure. Two spacious double bedrooms, each offering comfort and privacy for a restful night’s sleep, are served by a well-appointed bathroom with a separate shower and bath. On the top floor is the crown jewel of our home: the master bedroom. Featuring a luxurious king-size bed, an ensuite bathroom with double shower and separate bath, walk-in-wardrobe, and a very private roof terrace overlooking beautiful gardens. Perfect for a drink whilst watching the sunset. We have a lovely home and like to look after it. We have a no shoes policy in the house and ask that no food or drink other than water is stored or consumed in anywhere other than the kitchen. Other things to note No Pets Our cleaner, Martha, is a wonderful lady who has worked for us for almost a decade and is part of the family. She has her own key and will arrive every Wednesday morning to water the plants and cut the garden grass - unless you specifically request she does not attend. If you are renting for more than a week then Martha will clean the house for 3 hours. She is excellent, the house looks like a hotel after Martha has been in! I’m afraid Martha’s schedule is full and so that time is not movable if you ask her to not attend.
