House with lake view in the middle of the mountains

"The Mésange & the Cedars" Come and recharge your batteries in this bright and serene space. Open to nature, this cottage is conducive to calm and disconnection from everyday life. A beautiful sunset over the lake of the estate awaits you. At 750 m. altitude, come and enjoy pleasant air in the summer and many walks, you can swim in the village lake a 5-min walk away. In winter, snow is invited, offering magical landscapes. Perfect location to visit Occitania and its treasures. The space Without overlooking neighbours, surrounded by cedars, fir trees, meadows... You will access the estate by crossing the River Arnette via our wooden bridge. The horses present will welcome you. The terrace is currently under construction. The cottage is located on our estate, where my partner grows aromatic and medicinal plants. Our accommodation is located in the same building. (Separate entrance, separate terrace) The 90 m² cottage is a duplex, with the bedrooms located on the first floor. The ground floor of the accommodation is accessed via an external staircase leading to the veranda and then the kitchen. Breathtaking bird's-eye view of the estate's lake (swimming prohibited) It consists of 2 bedrooms with 160 cm bedding and dressing rooms, living room, dining room with wood stove (wood provided in cold season), en-suite bathroom with bathtub, separate toilet. The kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, oven, refrigerator, stovetop, toaster, coffee maker, kettle. Sheets and towels provided. There's a desk area on the mezzanine. A private terrace is at your disposal, with table and deckchairs, barbecue and brazier (wood and charcoal provided) You have private parking. For your safety, access to the lake and swimming are not permitted. There is no television, so you can make the most of the location's disconnect. Wi-Fi is nevertheless available, and the 4G packages from Bouygues and SFR work very well, while Orange and Free are weaker. A 5-minute walk away, you can enjoy a magnificent setting for swimming with a view of the Pic de Nore at Lake Birotos. There is a refreshment stand, a small municipal campsite, a tennis court and a hall hosting events (car boot sales, the lake festival in early August, etc.) around the lake. The village has a restaurant, "Le petit pradellois", which is a 15-minute walk away. The nearest food shops are in Villeneuve Minervois (20 minutes by car) or Mazamet (also 20 minutes). Things to see in Pradelles: Ballade des Glacières Climb to the Pic de Nore, the highest point of the Montagne Noire (1111 m) access by GR 36 (on the edge of the estate) Grab your mountain bikes – the local trails are a delight for young and old alike.
