Guest access The kitchen is fully equipped for light meal prep. Among the amenities are a microwave, NInja counter-top convection oven & Nutriblender, Keurig, electric kettle, a complimentary coffee/tea bar, filtered water and ice and a kitchen island for dining. Light use of HE washer and dryer (with provided detergent) is available for your convenience. During your stay You’ll share this well-loved home (known as "The Hive") with your host (Brit), one other professional traveler, and Naomi—my friendly, well-mannered German Shepherd. Full-time hosting is the norm here, so you can expect me to be around a majority of the time if needed, as I go about my typical day-to-day otherwise. While I don't keep a stringent routine, I regularly handle deep cleaning and projects in the shared spaces during "banker's hours," to ensure a more relaxing atmosphere for all in the evenings. This routine makes the home a perfect fit for guests with active professional or personal commitments outside the house during that time. While an occasional "recharge" day is welcome, the space is not suited for 'stay-cations' or those who need to be consistently present at that time. However, I practice flexibility whenever possible, so if you're unsure of your routine's compatibility, please feel free to reach out to see if it's a good fit! Other things to note Before You Reserve, please note: The Hive Standards are few, but are at the core of the culture here and essential to agreement prior to booking: 1. "Canine Co-Host" Naomi is your host's calm, accident-free, and obedient canine co-host who lives in the home and respects your personal space. She is a core part of the welcoming atmosphere here and is highly regarded by guests for her gentle nature. By reserving, you're confirming your acknowledgement of her presence. 2. "Good Neighbor Policy" We are proud of operating with a respectful presence that aligns with the safe and quiet culture of the neighborhood. Adherence is also essential to remain in good standing for local permits, so this is a non-negotiable requirement for all that reserve. Details will be provided in your check-in guide and are all reasonable expectations (i.e. parking, outdoor loitering/noise etc.).
