Casa de Alberto - Costa Rican style home, tucked away in a quiet community, is a short walk to some of the most beautiful beaches in Costa Rica. It backs onto the dry tropical forest providing a variety of birds and wildlife to experience. With the towns of Tamarindo and Flamingo only 30 min. away, it is close enough to enjoy the restaurants and attractions while giving a quiet place to come "home" to. Roomy, double bed and sofa/futon, kitchen, living room, private deck, hot water. The space A Costa Rican style one bedroom house, with artistic features hand crafted by a local artist. This unique oasis is cozy and inviting with high ceilings. The kitchen, living room, separate bedroom and patio make it lovely for extended stays. Within the house is a fridge, coffee maker, toaster, sink, microwave, toaster oven, gas cooktop (no oven) and dishes. There is an air conditioned bedroom with a double bed. A queen size sofa/futon in the living room which can be turned into a bed for two more people. The bathroom includes a full sized shower with hot water. There is a covered, patio perfect for relaxing and dining outdoors. Guests also have use of the shared pool located at our house next door. Towels and linens for use in the house are provided. Guests are responsible for their own beach towels and beach blankets. Wireless internet is provided. Guest access Being a bit away from it all a vehicle is a must. We are about 5km from the closest town and bus stop. Most of the main roads in our area are paved, however the last 4.5km to our house is dirt. An SUV or 4x4 will be more comfortable and will allow you to explore even further, but for many a car works fine. There is parking available on the property. Other things to note This is a pure Costa Rica experience - not all polish and shine, but comfortable, inviting and the stuff that memories are made of.
