Terrace Suite @ Underhill Barn B&B

The Terrace Suite at Underhill Barn B&B is our premium room benefiting from a large bathroom with separate bath, shower and twin sinks, along with fluffy towels and waffle robes. This room opens onto the Terrace, so if you fancy an early morning cup of tea in the sun, this is the room for you. There's ample storage and there's a mid-century dressing table in the room so you can get ready with ease and style! Tea & coffee facillities are in the room, we even provide treats! The space Underhill Barn B&B is 5 Star Gold accommodation, as rated by Visit England. We have 2 luxurious and spacious guest suites and food is a big thing at Underhill Barn. Guests feast on a four-course breakfast with locally sourced ingredients. Dating from the 1890's Underhill Barn is packed with charm and character, it was a working agricultural barn 30 years ago and was converted. We've sympathetically renovated Underhill Barn to provide every guest comfort but without losing any of its charm or character. Each suite has its own private relaxation area as well as a spacious sharged lounge just for guests that overlooks the pretty courtyard garden. When the weather permits breakfast & tea can be served outside, after 7pm it's private space for us. Southleigh is a beautiful agricultural village in the heart of the stunningly beautiful East Devon Natural Landscape (AONB). There's breathtaking walks right from the door, past our 14th Century Church of St. Lawrence, or jump in the car and just over 10 minutes away, join the South West coastal path, along the Jurassic Coast a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Guest access The bedroom, en-suite and and terrace area by the room are for the exclusive use of this suite. Although other guests may grab a book or walking map from the library shelves, the seating area in the library is exclusive to the Terrace Suite, so you can really spread yourself out and luxuriate at Underhill Barn. In addition to the generous guest space that you have here, there's also a large guest lounge that opens onto our sunny courtyard garden and terrace. These facilities are shared by other guests. Breakfast is served in our dining room and is round our large table so guests can mingle and get to know one another over fresh leaf tea or freshly brewed coffee. All rooms are lockable from inside and outside and there's also access to a safe should guests require it. Other things to note We have a much loved tabbycat Tilly, who is definitely the CEO of Underhill Barn B&B! She doesn't have access to the guest rooms and is strictly not allowed into them, but she does patrol and peruse all the open spaces of Underhill Barn, so if you're highly allergic to cats, then alas we may not be right for you. Please do let us know straight away if you have any dietary requirements, food allergies or sensitivities as we are happy to tailor our four-course breakfast offer to you. Your first day's breakfast is booked ahead the day before you arrive, this helps us minimise food waste and door our bit to protect the planet.
