El Ensueno is a one of a kind property offering unforgettable views of The Sierra Lujar mountains in an extremely private and relaxing location while also providing very close proximity to Orgiva. Just a 5 minute drive or 15 minute walk to the center of town. At the end of a very private, dead end road, surrounded by olive groves, it's the perfect place to unwind after a day exploring Orgiva, the Sierra Nevada Mountains, Mediterranean Coast and Beaches, and surrounding area of the Alpujarras! The space El Ensueno has everything you need to enjoy a relaxing and enjoyable vacation in the Alpujarras! The house features 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom and an open living room/kitchen floor plan. The kitchen is very well outfitted for all of your cooking and eating needs. (please note from the photos that the 2nd bedroom can be set up with either 1 large king bed or 2 twin beds) The house opens onto a large stone patio that has dining and lounging options directly adjacent to the swimming pool. There are multiple green and shaded areas to relax on while taking in the amazing views, sipping a drink, or dipping into the pool. The patio faces Southwest, providing an amazing space to take in the sunset over the adjoining properties of abundant olive and orange groves. The patio and garden also provide a wonderful location for night stargazing with the moonlit Sierra Lujar Mountains as a backdrop. Please be aware the swimming pool is 1.5-2 meters deep in all locations. There is no fence around the pool. Adult supervision is required at all time for the safety of children in the patio and garden which adjoin the pool area. The pool and green spaces are private and exclusively for the guests. Please be aware that there are times that the owners and caretakers will come into the area to do pool maintenance as well as lawn and gardening maintenance to ensure that the area stays pristine and beautiful during your stay. This cottage is an amazing destination as you are at close distance from many wonderful day trip options: 35 minutes from the beach, 20 minutes from famous and touristic white villages such as Pampaneira o Capileira, as well as 50 minutes from the city of Granada where you can enjoy a visit to the famous moorish castle of the Alhambra or visit historic neighborhoods such as the Albaicin. Guest access Guests will have full and exclusive private access to house, pool and green spaces. Other things to note We are the owners of this Airbnb and live in a separate house on the same property. Just so you are aware that you may see us around doing maintenance, gardening, and general upkeep on the Cortijo. We are often available to you if you have any questions or need any assistance with anything. We will take a short vacation during the summer, but you will always have a host or co-host available locally to help you with any needs or questions you may have.
