Maravilla is a paradise for nature and animal lovers and an Eldorado for ornithologists. In addition to macaws, parrots, toucans, chacalacas, oropendolas, falcons and a variety of different exotic songbirds, almost all bird species that live in Osa can be observed. The hummingbirds fly around tirelessly. Blue morphs appear from the thicket of trees. The howler monkeys open the day every morning and the coatis, iguanas and opossi also live here. If you are lucky, you will see whales in the ocean during the season. The house is deliberately designed to be very open with generous glass fronts and very spacious with high ceilings.
