The Secret Garden

Moreover, it is centrally located right on the main street of downtown Mount Shasta — literally steps from the town’s best dining and shopping. Lakes, waterfalls, hiking, and biking are all also within a short 20 minute drive. Come experience the healing energy of Mount Shasta while staying in a staple of the main street, The Secret Garden! The space As you walk into the Secret Garden, you’ll notice that the space is uniquely designed for guests. Put on a record and dance, open a book in the reading nook by the fire, relax in the hammock beneath the apple tree in the backyard, or enjoy your dinner al fresco around the table on the deck. With a kitchen fully stocked with appliances and utensils, you have the option of dining in, or feel free to walk literal steps to the town’s yummiest dining! When it’s time to wind down, hop on the couch and put on your favorite show or movie — but be warned, you may never want to hop back up! Or perhaps your ideal night cap is drawing a hot bath and enjoying a glass of wine, but either way, we have you covered! With two single beds upstairs, and a double bed downstairs, feel free to choose where you’d like to sleep. Please note that the upstairs bedroom does not have a door separating it from the stairs, thus noise from the upstairs and downstairs spaces tends to travel. We have 4 AC and heating units throughout the house, as well as an electric fireplace to cozy up next to, so creating your perfect temperature is easy. The bathroom has a large tub that sits beneath a beautiful stained glass window, as well as a separate shower with toiletries available to you. The bathroom floor is also fully heated, making it enjoyable to walk barefoot across the tiles! The Secret Garden is truly what its name suggests — a whimsical escape that allows you to retreat into all the comforts of home, while also encouraging you to explore the unbelievable natural beauty that surrounds us.
