ENTRY The interlocking pathway from the driveway leads to the separate side entrance with a keyless entry for easy self check-in. A flight of stairs will take you down to the basement suite where you are welcomed by the inviting living room boasting a 58” Smart TV with a complimentary Netflix subscription. Some board games are provided for at-home leisure activities! KITCHEN & DINING The well-equipped modern kitchen is stocked with a Keurig Duo coffee machine (drip coffee, K-pods, tea and sugar provided), kettle, toaster, air fryer, rice cooker, dishwasher, electric range, full-sized refrigerator, etc. Also included are pots, pans and utensils required to make home cooked meals. The dining space is paired with the open concept kitchen to allow meal time transition to be as comfortable and seamless as possible. SLEEP Once it is time to unwind, a luxurious king-sized bed with a premium mattress and a daybed (twin extends to a king short 5”) with premium memory foam mattresses await your company in their respective rooms. The couch in the living area converts to a sleeper sofa for additional sleeping accommodations. There will also be an extra roll-out single bed behind the mirrored closet. Each room consists of lamps, nightstands with drawers, extra blankets and pillows, storage space for clothes with full-length mirrors (built-in closet for daybed, wardrobe for king-sized), as well as a fan and a heater. BATH & LAUNDRY This suite consists of a full bathroom (hair dryer included), a powder room and a laundry room with a washer, dryer, iron and ironing board for your convenience. ADDITIONAL NOTES All windows have zebra blinds installed to adjust brightness throughout the day. Pot lights are installed in every room for extra lighting as required. Extra storage space and cleaning supplies can be found behind the door under the staircase. Guest access Check-In Time: 3 PM Check-Out Time: 11 AM This is a private guest suite with a separate side entrance. A keyless PIN will be provided upon arrival. You will have access to the entire guest suite in the basement except the cooler room and the furnace room - they may be locked as necessary. Guests have no access to the upper/floors, garage or backyard as it is occupied by another family. Other things to note - The temperature is controlled by the upper unit. Air vents are adjustable to control temperature flow. Space heaters and fans are provided in each bedroom. If you need additional accommodations, please feel free contact us. HOUSE RULES: By booking, you agree to all of the house rules listed on our listing and rental agreement. Here it is again for your reference: *Guests are required to provide ID before receiving check-in instructions. A driver's license or passport is an acceptable form of ID. Cancellation policies apply. I. Check-in is after 3 PM and check-out is before 11 AM. Early check-in and late check-out may be accommodated for a fee, please contact us 24 hours in advance to inquire. II. No smoking in the house or on the property at all times. III. No outdoor shoes in the home. Please leave all shoes at the front. IV. Please lock and close windows and doors when leaving the house. V. Missing or damaged items will be charged retail costs through the Airbnb portal as part of our process. VI. Parties or excessive noise causing neighbours to complain will result in us asking you to leave without a refund for your stay. VII. Management fee covers a damage protection insurance waiver during your stay. VIII. Quiet Hours: 11 PM – 7 AM IX. Unauthorized guests are subject to additional charges/guest/night. X. Please do not overload either washer or dryer. Do not exceed amount of laundry detergent indicated in dispenser. Be sure to empty lint tray in the dryer after every use. XI. Any cleaning issues or matters must be reported within a reasonable time of check in so that we can help resolve any issues you may have. XII. By booking you agree to not hold us liable for any injury, illness of the renter, their guests, visitors, or any persons that are injured as a result of the renters occupancy or actions. XIII. City of Whitby recycling, compost, & garbage rules must be followed. A guide will be provided. XIV. Return all keys, remotes, or other items prior to departure. There is a minimum $150 charge for lost, damaged or missing items. XV. We provide the basic amenities you need as you book our place (e.g. hand soap, toilet paper) but further supplies especially for long-stay bookings need to be purchased on your own. Please contact us and we may be able to support by providing the required items at a cost. XVI. For stays longer than 10 days, it may be necessary for us to conduct a routine inspection of the unit, which typically takes 1-3 hours. We will provide 24 hours notice prior to the inspection, except in cases of emergency or when necessary for the owner to access the unit, in which case a shorter notice may be provided regardless of the length of stay. XVII. You are responsible for returning the home in the same clean condition as received at time of check-in. Before check-out, guest/guests are required to remove all bags of garbage from the premises, clean or put all dirty dishes in the dishwasher, put all towels in a pile in the laundry room, and put all indoor and outdoor furniture back in their original places. Failure to do so may result in higher-than-normal cleaning fees which guest/guests will be responsible for.
