The Wolery is a quiet little cottage at the end of a lane. No passing traffic. Walks from the door, through woodland, up and down valleys and across moorland. Views across unspoilt countryside and huge sky! Far enough away from the village for complete peace, close enough to walk to the pub or shop. The space The Wolery is a small cottage that has it's own garden and parking. There is a south facing patio with views to the fields and down the valley across the woods. Step into The Wolery to find a double height kitchen/dining area. The kitchen has various cooking implements to cook a full meal should you so wish, a hob, a cooker, a microwave and a small slow cooker. There is a dishwasher too! The roomy bathroom leads off from the kitchen where you will find a 3 piece bathroom suite to include a shower over the bath. Also on the downstair floor is the comfortable bedroom. The double bed is made up with cotton sheets and a kingsize duvet to snuggle up under and whilst lying there drinking your morning cuppa you can look out of the windows at the beautiful vista. There are plenty of drawers for clothing. Upstairs it the sitting room which has a large window and 2 skylight windows, again looking out over the surrounding countryside and huge sky. You can sit comfortably to either watch the weather, the wildlife, farm animals, the TV or read on a 2 seater sofa or a highbacked chair. There are books, a few games and a box of local information leaflets to help you decide what to do whilst here. The garden is fully enclosed and gated so should you choose to bring your dog he/she should be safe (will not guarantee 100%, because if they want to get out they will!) There is a lawned area, shingle paths and a secure bicycle shed. The parking space is within the garden. The Wolery is on the outskirts of a vibrant village that has 3 pubs, a well stocked shop and a good butchers The walks from the village will take you as far as you wish to go, many of the surrounding villages also have great pubs too or, if you wish to stay closer to 'home', will allow for shorter circular walks. For those interested, we are 7 miles from Alton Towers. We are on the border of the peak district and a 15 minutes drive or so from Dovedale. The Potteries are approx' 20 minutes drive away so a visit to the various pottery shops is always worth a trip. And so much more to explore!
