Maison Renard - a paradise in the countryside

Welcome to the historic village of Montaigu in Hambers! Nestled in the preserved natural setting of a listed 16th century village, we offer a charming detached house, perfect for a couple's getaway. We wanted to provide generous comfort while preserving the authenticity of the premises. The fully equipped Renard house has one bedroom and an extra bed (one person) in the living room. Connected to fiber optic internet, it offers television and music (AirPlay). The space We've made sure your stay is as enjoyable and comfortable as possible. The essentials for your first breakfast are free of charge. All the basic products are provided for your short stays: - slippers, 2 bathrobes, towels (1 large + 1 small per person), soaps, shampoo, cotton...) - coffee, tea, hot chocolate, herbal teas, condiments, pasta, rice... Enjoy a fully equipped kitchen, with a Lacanche piano where you can prepare delicious meals with local products - organic farm located 10 minutes' walk away with seasonal products all year round. You can freely use the stove (small Godin) in the living room, wood is available. It can advantageously be used for heating instead of electric radiators. In the living room, an extra bed (converted into a sofa) 75 cm wide can accommodate one person. The bedroom has a 160 X 200 bed. A 10 m2 outbuilding (bread oven) is available to store your vegetables, shoes... Wood is stored in this annex. Other things to note The essentials for your first breakfast are free. Partners of a nearby restaurant, we can offer a welcome service with quality meal trays. To do this, you'll want to ask us in advance at the time of your booking or a few days before your stay begins. The village is surrounded by many hiking trails. Horseback riding can also be arranged. Laval Golf Course is 35 km away. Hybrid bikes are available for athletes (lots of relief). 1 elliptical and an indoor bike if you want to stay indoors. A ping-pong table or petanque balls for the quieter ones. Horse riding club (horses and ponies) 10 km away.
