The space This farmhouse is different with a rich historic past. Catherine Ferrers used to live in the local manor house in the 18th century and became a highway 'lady', robbing the rich to keep up her manor house. In the 20th century associations with Hollywood continue with 'Clockwork Orange' being made here as Stanley Kubrick had this very farmhouse as his home. The house is extremely well equipped with every little detail thought about. Good quality bed linen, towels and comfy beds. A dinner setting with dinner glasses for 8 so you can have a dinner party here, as well as a large and private garden and a separate large safe space for children to play. The master suite with super king bed, includes a galleried section , ensuite and large dressing room with ample hanging space. The second guest bedroom is light, airy and calm with a double bed and ensuite, and small walk-in wardrobe Then there is a spacious attic room that has a trundle and a pull out so can accomodate 3 children/teens or makes a large king for a couple plus a child. London is 23 minutes by train from Luton Parkway which is 5 mins away. Guest access The whole house and gardens and children's paddock/playfield with football goal net. The driveway has parking for 4 cars easily The garage, cellar and attic storeroom will be locked. There is no access to the courtyard used by other neighbours. The paddocks and fields although owned by us are out of bounds.
