Description
Grace’s Cottage is a 1950s home that has been recently renovated. It has the quaint charm of this era with many of the features retained. The cottage has been fully renovated with a neutral palette and some bold 1950s decor. The home is very spacious and the bedrooms are huge with some added comforts such as television and air-conditioning. At night you can enjoy sitting around enjoying a BBQ (available on request) looking at the stars. The space The Heritage Queen room- is a light filled room (approx. 15sqm). The Heritage room has a Queen size bed fitted with cotton sheets and soft doonas. The room has the original polished floorboards and original windows. It has both a ceiling fan and reverse cycle air-conditioning. Storage of all your suitcases and clothing is accommodated in an open concept wardrobe. The room has a television and wifi internet connection. Privacy away from the other bedroom, but with access to the lounge room, workspace, bathroom and full eat in kitchen. You can relax with an early morning cuppa on the back patio off the kitchen. The room has a lockable door. Guest access Guests have access to the whole house - full kitchen, bathroom, front patio, living room, downstairs laundry, outdoor entertainment with fountain, lawn at the front of the house. The house is not suitable for small children. The shed is not available to guests. During your stay I am available most of the time and live next door. I can be contacted via mobile, text or call. I work Monday-Friday but home early afternoon and weekends. Other things to note Please be aware of the location of the house. The house is approx. 2klms to the CBD. There is very little public transport so either walking, Uber or taxi is required. If you do not have transport this should be considered before you book. There is a bus stop 200 mtrs away. Timetable on TransLink. Please be respectful of our environment and turn off the air-conditioners when leaving the house. If we find they have been left on for a period of time we will turn them off at the main switch. You can turn them back on upon your return. We have wonderful seafood here in Bundy and you can buy directly from the trailers at Burnett Heads or here in town at Grunskes. If you do have seafood for lunch or dinner please freeze the shells and let us know and we will dispose of them on the appropriate council collection day. This ensures we are not stuck with smelly prawns in the bins for days. There is off street parking and room for the boat and caravan.
