The building is located at the entrance to the resort, at the foot of the slopes. Access to the "chalet building" is via an external staircase equivalent to 2 floors, on which it is difficult to bring dogs down. They can go down the hill just below. Other things to note The resort and/or shops are open from June 1 to September 30. And from December 12th to the end of the Easter holidays. The ski area closes on April 11. (Subject to snow conditions and decisions made by the resort). In the off-season, you will find shops open in Hauteluce 7 km, Crest volant 8 km or Beaufort 17 km. The nearest railway station is 30 km away in Albertville. Buses connect from the train station, and from Chambéry and Lyon St Exupéry and Geneva airports. The Col des Saisies, well known from the Tour de France, allows passage between the Beaufortin Valley and the Val d'Arly Valley. At the top is the resort, famous for its Nordic skiing, Olympic site of the 1992 Olympics. It's a well-known crossing point for bikers. In winter, you can ski in the Espace Diamant, which includes 6 village resorts: Les Saisies, Hauteluce, Crest Volant Cohennoz, Notre-Dame de Bellecombe, Flumet, Praz sur Arly for 192 km of groomed and secure slopes. It is one of the largest cross-country ski areas: 120 km of marked trails + biathlon, rated 4 fir trees by Nordic France. Access from early opening/snowfarming): The exact date is not yet fixed, but we can expect an opening around November 10-15, 2025.
