Welcome to our charming cottage created in former workshops, nestled in our wooded garden. Enjoy a 30 m2 space that is completely independent and quiet for a professional, tourist, or simply romantic stay. We'll be there throughout your stay to accommodate your requests, looking forward to hosting you in our haven of serenity! The space The accommodation is a cottage totally independent of the main house, located in the garden, not overlooked. Facing south, the light is present all day long. We completely renovated it in 2022 to live there daily while renovating our house, so it has all the comforts you need and is perfectly insulated. The bedroom is equipped with a queen size bed (160 x 200) of good workmanship (Tediber) and the living room with a bench that can be used as an extra bed. A crib can be provided, upon request only. In the bathroom, there is a walk-in shower, a large towel dryer and toilet. Finally, the Maladrerie district is an old district of Caen, known for its calm but also for its proximity to the city center. Guest access The accommodation is on one level and has independent access from the street. 5 minutes from the ring road, parking is free and easy. Two electric vehicle charging stations (25kw) are 150m from the property. Caen city center is a 5-minute drive, 15 minutes by bike. Several bus lines serve the accommodation including line 3 (15 minutes from the airport) and line 6 (25 minutes from the train station). The memorial is a 5-minute drive and the beach is 20 minutes away. The IMEC (Institut Mémoires de l'Édition Contemporaine), housed in the Ardennes Abbey, is a 10-minute walk away. The accommodation is a 5-minute walk from essential shops (bakery, grocery store, butcher, pharmacy, florist...) For cyclists, there is the possibility to store the bikes safely and to lend a hand in mechanical repairs if necessary!
