Magical Cozy Cottage in Chumani, Kilifi County

Welcome to this unique tranquil getaway in Chumani, Kilifi County. Immerse yourself in the utmost peace with an endless breeze, unbelievable lush greenery, and a stunning expansive outdoor in the heart of the village, while still having easy access to town. The compound is shared with 2 other cottages. There's Wifi, a restaurant, staff on the ground, and the beach is 15 minutes away. Price includes breakfast, other meals are cooked in a shared kitchen either by yourself or our staff at a fee. The space The cottage features a main room furnished with a bed, clothes storage, side table and seat, as well as a full bathroom. You also enjoy a small cozy outdoor, roofed sitting area (porch) attached to the house. It's set in a private lush compound that comprises 3 other cottages and a private residence. It's super peaceful, breezy and green. We love nature, DIY and minimal wastage. So, we've maintained most of the greenery and indigenous trees and plants. Some of our furnishings are also not only handmade on site, but also utilise local materials, wood (mindfully sourced), and scrap wood, metal & other materials that we repurposed into useful and stunning unique pieces. It's accessible via the Kilifi-Watamu highway, and is about 7 minutes from the highway. You enjoy a quiet, clean, green and breezy atmosphere, while still within close distance to the main nearby towns like Malindi, Watamu, & Kilifi. The beach: It's nearby, you can access it in about 15 minutes via foot. Touring Other Local Places: Should you want to tour other coastal places, or anywhere in Kenya, feel free to ask and I'll make it happen. Also ask us about airport pick-up & drop-off. Meals: Breakfast is included in the pricing. For other meals, you can either purchase your groceries and cook in our kitchen, bring a chef with you, or have our staff on the ground cook for you at a fee. Even better, chat with us about your preferred menu then sit back and enjoy your holiday as we do all the heavy lifting from scratch, and serve you. Coking is done in a designated shared kitchen. Dining: There are endless options from the outdoor dining areas, your porch, or the main dining area in the restaurant, which also has a bar. As us about local cuisines, and seafood and fish freshly caught from the ocean. We have staff on the ground to take care of you to ensure you have a pleasant stay. The garden, outdoor sitting spaces, swings, and the restaurant and bar are shared by other residents in the other two cottages within the compound. Other things to note Fell free to carry your hammock and we'll find a spot for it within the compound.
