Description
This self-contained en-suite double room is situated in a quiet residential road on the edge of the village of Chailey. The village, with a shop (0.5 mile away) and pubs (1.5. and 2.5 miles away), is surrounded by beautiful countryside with lovely walks directly from the house. The South Downs National Park is just 2 miles away and the lovely historic county town of Lewes is 10 minutes drive away. Also close by is the Bluebell Steam Railway an the National Trust gardens at Sheffield Park. The space The room is self-contained, with direct access from its own private garden and, while quite a small double room, it is well equipped with an en-suite shower room, TV, tea and coffee making facilities and a continental breakfast provided in the room fridge daily. Parking is available on our driveway. Provided with the room are towels and bed linen, shampoo and shower gel, free Wi Fi, tea and coffee and continental breakfast. Outside is a small private patio garden with a table and chairs for when the weather permits. Guest access Access is through a gateway to the right of the main front door of the bungalow and into the room’s private garden. Entrance to the room is via the patio doors leading from the private garden with the keys in a key safe next to the door. Other things to note We have a friendly but very hairy dog called Monty. While he will not have access to your space he will come and say hello if he gets a chance. If guests will be wanting a taxi during their stay, we strongly advise booking one ahead of time. Taxis can be booked that are based in either Lewes or Haywards Heath.
