Deer View Cabin is the perfect secluded getaway to spend your time relaxing in the hot tub or sit listening to the rain on the tin roof in a rocking chair on our beautiful porch. Inside you can unwind in comfy chairs beside a cosy stove whilst you look out onto woodland & wildlife. If you like walking we have beautiful off road walks to the quiet beach of Grimston (25 min walk) or around St Michael’s woods, bring appropriate footwear. Deer View was built & designed by my husband Dominic ❤️ The space Deer View Cabin is situated within the woodland of our property with a beautiful porch and hot tub. Inside is open plan living (separate shower room) with a cosy fire, comfy chairs & a four poster bed with Tempur mattress. There is a well equipped small kitchen with 2 bar stools & a table for a place to dine or work. We provide shampoo, conditioner, body wash, towels, toilet roll & all basic cleaning products like fairy liquid so you can travel light. Milk, bread, butter & tea, coffee, sugar, salt, pepper & olive oil will also be provided. There are no shops, pubs or restaurants within walking distance as we are quite remote. We have a fabulous Italian takeaway that delivers called Alcapone’s in Preston. We have 1 nice pub within a 10 minute drive (see guidebook). Our 2 local convenience stores are based in Aldbrough which is a 10 min drive away. If you would like a more accessible beach than Grimston (Grimston beach is a 25 min off rd walk there) there is Mappleton beach which is a 10 minute drive away The nearest seaside town is Hornsea (even more accessible beach) with lots of nice restaurants and shops (25 min drive). Beverley is a fabulous day out with lots of superb restaurants and shops. (35-40 min drive). FOR THOSE WHO DO NOT WISH TO USE THE HOT TUB DURING THEIR STAY, PLEASE CONTACT US FOR A DISCOUNTED PRICE! Guest access The cabin & adjacent grounds Other things to note FOR THOSE WHO DO NOT WISH TO USE THE HOT TUB DURING THEIR STAY, PLEASE CONTACT US FOR A DISCOUNTED PRICE! A maximum of ONE well behaved dog or two small well behaved dogs maximum, the cabin is too small for two big dogs. Please no vicious dogs as it is a shared garden and we have two young children. Well behaved cats allowed also. Two guests only, NO VISITORS. The cabin would be suitable for a baby or a toddler but would be too small for two babies/todders. We have a retractable gate at the top of the stairs on the porch to keep a toddler or dog in if you want/need to. The cabin is too small for a baby & a dog. Please note the garden is not fully secure as we want wildlife such as deers to be able to come in and out of the property so be careful of ditches at the back of the property. If guests would like me to arrange ANYTHING on arrival such as balloons, chocolates, drinks ect please let me know in advance and I can do that no problem (extra charge of course).
