The Lookout, Salthouse

The Lookout certainly lives up to its name with its elevated position offering spectacular sea and marsh views! The property occupies a peaceful location, tucked up a private lane leading to the pretty Church at Salthouse. This laid-back retreat is just a short stroll from the beach, bird-watching marshes and the amenities Salthouse has to offer including the popular Dun Cow pub! The property has a laid-back, scandi style throughout with lots of unique furnishings and artwork. The space The property offers two beautifully styled, en-suite bedrooms, a wonderful decked garden and a hidden office on the first floor with a desk enjoying those all important views! There is also parking available which is a real bonus in a property so close to the coast. The light and bright living space has French doors leading out onto the decked garden so indoor/outdoor living can be enjoyed in the summer months. Plenty of comfortable seating surrounds a wood burner so in the coastal views can still be enjoyed from the comfort and warmth of your property during the winter months! A dining table seating four sits in the corner of the room and a Smart TV is provided with access to apps with your own subscription. The kitchen is very well equipped with a hob, oven, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, washing machine and Nespresso coffee machine (microwave is not provided at this property). The entrance hallway leads down to both lovely bedrooms. The first bedroom has a sumptuous four-poster king size bed, wall-mounted TV and quality soft furnishings. This room leads into a separate built-in wardrobe area and ensuite with free-standing bath, wc and wash hand basin. A small set of steps leads to the second bedroom with a king size bed, built-in storage, wall mounted TV and en-suite shower room with wc and wash hand basin. A narrow staircase off the hallway takes you up to a small study room which is the ideal ‘work from home’ space or a hideaway for simply relaxing. This little nook enjoys wonderful views of the surrounding marshes and out to sea (please note this room has limited headroom). The outside sun deck is a wonderful space to relax in the summer months with a comfortable L-shaped sofa and superb views. We are delighted to offer our guests such a unique and special property.
