For more info, visit us at LoveTheManor We do not rent individual rooms. We rent the entire estate, which includes use of the home and grounds, private use of the pool, and outdoor kitchen. Located in the beautiful area of South Bay, this estate is farm charm in the country, offering a serene getaway for the discerning traveler. Equestrian property provides peaceful surroundings of lilacs, green rolling pastures, walking trails, and wildlife, all just 5 minutes from I-5. The house sits on a hill, offering excellent views of Mt. Rainier and surrounding grounds, landscaped and natural. The Manor is the perfect place for families, since activities are many, and there is endless room for children (and adults) to play. The house itself provides several areas for visiting, eating, relaxing, meeting....plenty of room for everyone. The estate is a 4 story, 4000 sf remodeled 1920's farm house located on 35 acres of pasture and trees, one mile from the Puget Sound waterfront and 10 minutes from historic downtown Olympia. Kitchen: For the culinary artists, you will love the large kitchen with double ovens, island, side by side sub zero fridge, two microwaves, 3 sinks and plethora of space to use in preparing your own meals. Master: Large Master suite is flooded with light by casement windows on 3 sides, providing views of horses grazing in the pastures, cherry trees, and tall evergreens. Master Bath includes two sinks and huge walk in double shower. Large HDTV plasma tv with DirecTV and DVD library also in Master. Pillowtop CA King Bed is as comfy as they come, you will never want to leave. There is also a pull out ottoman and small sleeper sofa in the Master (meant for kids), and room for air mattresses if your group is larger. Rooms: In addition to the Master, there is a large bedroom with 2 Queen Size pillowtop beds, and a twin size memory foam bed. The third bedroom has a CA King. All of the above mentioned rooms are on the second floor. On the top floor, there is a full size bed, a bit more firm, and not a pillowtop, and a twin bed. On the first floor, there is a smaller bedroom with a twin over Queen bunk and twin sized bed. There is also a Queen size very comfortable sofa sleeper on the first floor. There is ample room all over the house to set up airbeds. We can provide 2 airbeds . Back Patio: Out the sliding glass door, you will find an outdoor kitchen area, complete with 2 sinks, burners, and HUGE Lynx barbecue, 100' lap pool (available Summer only), all surrounded by a gorgeous, massive river rock wall. Living Room: Floor to (vaulted) ceiling stunning river rock fireplace, flat screen t.v. with DVD library and DirecTV, Surround sound, 3 large couches to accomodate large groups, heated slate floor, open beamed ceilings and ample windows set the scene for the perfect PNW retreat. Library: Gorgeous original wood floors and white brick fireplace with elegant mantle, well lit sitting area overlooks manicured grounds and horse pastures. Two extremely comfortable overstuffed chairs, the library is well stocked with literary classics. Activities galore: Walk or bike on the Chehalis Western Trail, have a fire in the courtyard firepit, there is a game area where you can set up your own horseshoe, lawn darts, or other outdoor games. Indoors, there is a piano, cookie cutters in the kitchen, and if you bring your own gaming system, we have a large flatscreen tv to make gaming a blast. For the Equestrian Traveler: For those with horse interest, neighboring Chastain Mist Equestrian, LLC offers a lovely cross country jump field, outdoor arena, riding trails, and stadium jumps all on site. You may also schedule a riding lesson or trail ride with Chastain Mist. The rate is $50 per person. Chastain Mist has horses for complete beginners as well as the seasoned competitor, inquire about their weight limit. There are always horses on site, but horses are only available for riding May-September. Additional Amenities: 1 acre landscaped by famous arborist, Walking trails where deer, hawks, and eagles are frequent, Air Conditioning in most of the house. Amtrak stops in Tacoma and Seattle, and traveling by train is a relaxing, fun way to get where you want to go. Other things to note This is an animal sanctuary. We have 3 cats on the property that aren't allowed in the rental, in addition to the rescued animals: 2 goats, 2 pigs, 20 sheep, 9 chickens, 14 horses. Recommend not petting cats as some are strays and unpredictable.
