Just 500m from Lake Sainte Croix , a 2200 ha body of water, the campsite benefits from an ideal location to enjoy the southern sun. Maeva Escapades is an invitation to take the time to re-discover France and its destinations through the eyes of lovers of their region. At the edge of Lake Sainte-Croix , you can swim on various wild sites or on the developed beaches with lifeguards in July/August. Many activities are also possible such as renting sailboats, windsurfing boards, electric boats or pedal boats. Don't miss the hike up part of the Gorges du Verdon, a grandiose site bordered by dizzying cliffs. If you go hiking, many trails are accessible from the campsite. For thrill-seekers, climbing, paragliding, bungee jumping, rafting, hydrospeed or aquatic hikes are available nearby. Visiting picturesque villages and their Provencal markets are the most pleasant walks and outings to discover a region full of traditions as a family. On site, you can relax or swim in the landscaped and heated outdoor swimming pool (out of season). You will also have access to certain leisure facilities for family fun: ping-pong table, volleyball court, table football, playground with swing for children. In order to make your stay as pleasant as possible, the campsite provides you with various services: a quality restaurant overlooking the lake where you can enjoy the cuisine of Provence, a grocery store with bread supply and a snack bar (in July/August) around the pool will also be available.
