Domasa Relax in Valkov

Perched high on a hill overlooking the gorgeous Domasa Lake sits the stunning Chata. With a mix of modern and old Chata style and artsy touches, this space is gorgeous. The cabin is tucked into a pocket of nature surrounded by trees. The expansive front windows and deck provide an incredible sunrise view across the hills and lake and dark sky lighting sets the stage for breathtaking starry skies. The covered BBQ place with Gas and Coal and outdoor shower is icing on the cake! The space As you arrive at Chata, you’ll be taken aback by the incredible views of Lake Domasa. This home has everything you'll need for a memorable time at the lake with family, friends and children. Hit the lake and enjoy our proximity to the beach, swimming, hiking, biking, fishing, and boat rentals. Chata is a family-friendly and upbeat lake community where you'll find everything from casual dining, bars, parks and family-friendly activities. You'll find plenty to do over the course of a week. Please note the home is not directly on the water but so close to everything! The summer season is April to September and all Restaurants are open. During the off season some restaurants are closed, but in Stropkov, 15 minutes with the car, restaurants are open. Perfect for quiet time and hiking and biking. After a day on the lake, enjoy coming home to a clean, spacious, and well-decorated space perfect for entertaining large groups. The beach and restaurants are within 5 minutes walking distance. Hiking and Biking Trails start directly from the Chata. Presov , Kosice (former european cultural capital) , Medzilaborce(Andy Warhol), Spiš Castle are within 1 hour by car. National parks are within one hour, Poloniny National Park,Chránená krajinná oblasť Východné Karpaty, Vysoké Tatry, Vihorlat Protected Landscape Area The kitchen is well equipped with a gas range, refrigerator, coffee machine, pots, pans, bakeware, cutting boards, microwave, knives, basic spices and just about everything you'll need for cooking and entertaining! The casual breakfast nook overlooks stunning Lake Domasa views. Enjoy your morning coffee on the patio and evenings on the deck grilling on the propane grill (propane provided) or charcoal grill as you watch the sun set over the lake. Each bedroom has curtains to help you sleep in (vacation mode!). There are three bedrooms and one bathroom. On the upper level, you'll find the master bedroom with beautiful lake views. On the upper floor are also the two additional bedrooms each with a double bed and dresser and a crib with baby toys. During the summer it can get very hot outside. We recommend to keep all doors, windows and shades closed during the day and open them for ventilation and cooling during the night. Additionally you can use the ventilators. During autumn, winter and spring, the electric heater can be used to control the temperature inside. The backyard is not fenced, it's open to the forest. If you bring pets, please make sure to keep them safe. Guest access The entire home and backyard, only the tool room is locked. Other things to note The address is not available in navigation software, so please follow the instructions and picture. The trash must be recycled and can be disposed of on the main street. The washing machine can be used, only the water needs to be opened. If the propane for the stove or BBQ is empty you can get a refill at the grocery immediately, or you can call me to replace it. The chata has a septic tank, so be carefully with water and don't flush any waste or plastic and non disposable materials.
