Description
Stay 20 km from Jyväskylä in an old shoemaker's house. The log house, which was moved in 1929 and later expanded, has a relaxed atmosphere. Located in a small village, this place is perfect for you if you enjoy a quiet environment and outdoor activities. In winter, the courtyard leads directly to the road and in summer, it is easy to walk to the village beach. The space The downstairs bedroom has a 180 cm double bed and a small crib. The upstairs bedrooms (3) all have a 120 cm frame mattress bed and, if necessary, it is also possible to add one 120 cm futon mattress. Two bedrooms with a toilet next to them, two further away. The kitchen with its utensils and the living room are also available for guests. The house is on the village road and the sounds of cars and children passing by may be heard inside. At night, it is quiet and the street lights go out for the night. The center of Jyväskylä can also be reached by bus a few times a day on weekdays. In the yard there is a traditional wooden sauna and on the beach there is a small granny's cottage with a terrace where it is nice to barbecue and watch the sunset in the summer. In winter, there is a possibility of even kick sledding. Guest access In addition to their rooms, guests have free access to the kitchen, living room and toilet. The basement shower and laundry/ironing facilities are also available. The traditional sauna in the yard can also be heated. The people of the house (two adults and a cat) stay in other rooms at the other end of the house. During your stay You can send a call, send a message or come and chat. Other things to note There's a cat in the house. In winter, the old house can be cool in severe frosts. There are spiral stairs between the floors, which is quite challenging with small children.
