Delightful, 4 bedroom family home in the heart of mid-Suffolk, set in three acres of ancient orchard. The modern extension houses a 50m2 open plan living area with bifold doors which open out onto the terrace, complete with a BBQ and garden furniture. The house also benefits from underfloor heating throughout, fibre optic broadband, off-street parking and is ideally situated for exploring all the delights Suffolk and Norfolk have to offer. The space Stone House sits in the corner of a beautiful three acre orchard, populated by fruit and walnut trees. The house is split into two halves, the modern extension and the original Victorian dwelling. At the back the extension houses a 50m2 open plan living area, kitchen, pantry and dining room with bifold doors opening onto the terrace. The wood burner in the living room keeps things cosy, and guests are welcome to use wood from our plentiful wood store. The kitchen comes fully equipped with a large fridge freezer, dishwasher, oven, induction hob, toaster, kettle and coffee machine. A large hallway links the extension to the older part of the house, where you’ll find all of the bedrooms and bathrooms. Upstairs leading off a spacious landing are the master double bedroom and a second bedroom with two single beds. There is also an upstairs toilet/shower room. Downstairs you will find the master bathroom with a shower and bath, a second double bedroom and and the fourth bedroom/office with a fold out futon. There is also a utility room with a sink, washing machine and tumble dryer. The heating and hot water are powered by an air source heat pump, and the property benefits from underfloor heating throughout. We are also connected to super fast fibre broadband. This is our family home and not a full time holiday let, which makes it the perfect place for families to come to relax and unwind. Guests are welcome to make use of any toys, games, DVDs etc that they find. The garden also has a 12ft trampoline and zipline (to be used entirely at your own risk). Guests with small children should also be aware that there are two ponds at the property, one of which is close to the house and around 2ft deep. Other things to note PLEASE NOTE - The house comes with two well-behaved cats, and we ask that only people who are happy to feed and water them during their stay make a booking. We also have a crested gecko who just requires fresh water every day.
