The cottage is located in the Risle Valley, a pretty river to walk along, you can visit the typical Normandy village of La Ferrière-sur-Risle or the Château de Beaumesnil a few kilometers away. The space Located in the Risle Valley in the middle of the forest, between the typical Norman village of La Ferrière sur Risle and the Beaumont Forest, you can spend a pleasant stay at the Chên'Houx cottage that we had the pleasure of restoring. The cottage is surrounded by trees and a large plot, you can enjoy the view of the forest and the valley. It is located 1 hr 45 min from Paris and 80 km from the sea. In the area, you will find beautiful walks by the river, hiking trails (including the GR 224), bike rides. La Ferrière also offers a flea market every 3rd Sunday of the month. Around, there are many fruit and vegetable producers, and visits including the Château de Beaumesnil, the city of Bernay and Conches and their museums. One-story house that can accommodate 5 people. The gîte consists of: an entrance with cloakroom, a living room with open fireplace (TV and DVD player), a dining room with large table. The living room, dining room opens onto the terrace overlooking the forest and communicates with the kitchen via an opening. The kitchen is equipped and modern (oven, induction cooktop, dishwasher, fridge with freezer, cookware, microwave, coffee machine, kettle, toaster...). There are 2 bedrooms, one bedroom with 1 double bed, 1 second bedroom with 3 single beds that opens onto the terrace as well, a bathroom (sink, shower and towel dryer), separate toilet and children's games, DVDs and books. Outside: a large sunny terrace with garden table and chairs and views of the forest as well as a barbecue. A very large 2000 m2 garden with trampoline, slide, swings, deckchairs.
