Channel Cabin is situated in the beautiful, peaceful village of Woodbridge 35 minutes south of Hobart. Our 3 bedroom cabin boasts sweeping 180 degree views from Mt Wellington across the D’Entrecasteaux Channel to Bruny Island & Fluted Cape. Spend winter nights around the firepit chasing the Aurora Australis or relax on the deck in summer taking in the views of Wedgetail Eagles and other local wildlife. Enjoy our comfortable, modern, countryside cabin while you bask in the beauty of Tasmania. The space A few things to note about Channel Cabin before your stay. Although we provide bedding for 5 people and can accommodate up to 5 adults - we would suggest that the cabin is modest and is more designed with 3-4 people in mind including children. The fire pit provided is a perfect way to spend the evening; however, it may not be available during periods of Fire Restrictions in Tasmania. Due to our desire to make the cabin comfortable and spacious on the inside, the only dining table is located outside on the deck. As we are reliant on rainwater we do ask that guests are conservative with their use of water during their stay. Guest access Guests have full access to the cabin and are welcome to walk up the driveway to the village of Woodbridge and other surrounds and can also access the vacant land adjacent to the cabin for a short wander or to admire the local wildlife and the view. Other things to note There is adequate parking on site on the gravel driveway adjacent to the cabin, please don't park on the grass in front of the cabin. Tasmania will often have fire bans during summer - at which point you may be unable to light the fire pit. We will provide those details in our welcome message if the fire bans are in place.
