Description
Rina and Giannangelo are pleased to welcome you to this corner of paradise. We are in the historic center of a lovely medieval town dating back to 568 AD. Our guests will be able to enjoy a breathtaking view of the Abruzzo mountains, comfortably seated in our private garden. They will find armchairs, hammocks, towels and cushions to relax immersed in the sounds of nature. The space Belvedere da Fernanda is located on the first floor of our family home. The garden is perfectly lit all day. The stone structure of the house allows it to maintain a cool climate between spring and summer, while in the cold seasons the temperature remains mild. The first floor consists of a kitchen, a living room with fireplace, two bedrooms connected with the bathroom. There is free reserved parking. Guest access Guests are welcome to use all the garden facilities provided, including the barbecue and fire pit. The place is suitable for small parties and outdoor meals. We are be happy to help you organize tasting tours in the Comino Valley and surrounding areas. You may request a reservation to have a private tasting in our cellar or in the garden, in collaboration with Tenuta Cervelli. Other things to note - Lake Posta Fibreno, the nature reserve where it is possible to rent pedal boats or take a canoe tour, just 10 minutes by car; o August: Crucifix of the lake and the diver Festival - Vicalvi, a charming hiltop town which boasts a Castle famous for the large Red Cross painted on one of the facades of the fortress, a relic of the Second World War; - Campoli Appennino, the land of bears and truffles; o November: Festival of the prized Black and White Truffle and Marzolina. - Arpino, the city of Cicero with the citadel of Civitavecchia and the first pointed arch o August: Banner Festival - Isola del Liri, the first waterfall in Europe in the center of a small town and the Castle of Boncompagni-Viscogliosi (about 15 minutes by car) o July: Blues Festival - Sora, A village with a historical center which was the birthplace of the great Vittorio de Sica. There is a weekly market and Castle of San Casto - Pastena Caves (about 45 minutes by car) - Cassino, an italian commune known for the Abbey of Montecassino - Anagni Cathedral with its impressive Romanesque/Byzantine frescoes (about 55 minutes by car); - Fiuggi, famous for its water which flows from natural springs and mountains (about 1 hour and 5 minutes by car).
