VillaMar is a very cozy and large/comfortable beach front vacation home with stunning sea views at a privileged/unique location with direct private beach access on Contadora Island (Playa Cazique). Pearl Islands. (FREE early check in (10 am) and late checkout (2.30 pm) when possible / available!) It’s perfect for families, couples or groups of people looking for a peaceful remote place to slow down, recharge and get away from all the stress of their daily life. The space The beach house has 4 bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms, a complete & fully equipped kitchen, living room with a large satellite TV (50”) and a large leather sofa etc, and a large terrace with a wonderful sea view and direct beach access! Modern and quiet, efficient A/C:s (split) throughout the house (bedrooms, living room & kitchen) stainless steel refrigerator, freezer Free Strong Wi-fi throughout the whole house, a fully-equipped kitchen (with stainless steel refrigerator/freezer, microwave, blender, toaster, mini food processor, stove/oven, modern coffee brewer, silverware and plates, glasses, serving dishes, pots, pans, fryîng pans etc.) WEBER stainless steel BBQ & grill on terrace with gas tank (full) , garden with parasol and garden chairs, terrace with sea view and high stool bar chairs plus dining table. * 1 large Master Bedroom with 1 King Size Bed + 1 extra foldable sofa bed) (max 2 Adults + 1 adult or 1-2 kids) + private bathroom * 1 large Terrace Bedroom with 1 King Size Bed + 2 modern Bunk beds (twin/twin & twin/full size) Max 5-6 persons + Prívate bathroom. The house has a live-in maid who will receive you upon your arrival, and check you in. You will receive the house super clean and ready to be occupied upon your arrival. Please Note: Additional / optional maid services such as daily cleaning, cooking and washing the dishes for you are NOT INCLUDED in the rental price but could be agreed with the maid in person during your stay by paying additional gratitudes to the maid in-person and only cash. However, this applies only if you wish to use the additional services of the maid and is of course optional! Other things to note FREE transport* is included in the rental price (minimum stay 2 nights) from the ferry dock/airport on Contadora Island from/to Ferry dock / airport to the house and vice versa. * ( For Max 4-5 persons , 1 trip only) ** Extra charges apply for additional trips) (+ 1 trip, + 5 persons) (** There is an additional transport cost ($) for more than + 4/5 house guests since it’s a contracted service only for one (1) trip each way (+1 trip/= $ extra charge). Getting to Contadora Island: Ferry: (90 minutes) The island is easily reachable from Panama City through ferry (1 hour and 30 minutes). (At the moment (2025) the price is US$ 98.00 round trip for adults and US$ 78.00 for kids (<12 years old). By Plane: (20-25 minutes) Contadora Island can be reached by airplane (limited weekend flight options) from Panama City. (Weekend flights only (Fri-Sun). Much more expensive than ferry (but much faster) and luggage limit 10-12 kg person). By Helicopter You can also reach Contadora Island by helicopter with Heli-Ancon. (Private Charter & very expensive) I'm not sure of the prices, but you can send them an email and enquire. Estimated Helicopter Flight Times: 40-45 minutes We would be glad to help you out with any suggestions / recommendations on what to do on the Island (excursions, fishing trips etc.) and / or any questions you may have regarding your stay on Contadora Island! There is a permanent medical clinic on the island providing basic medical needs but in case of severe accidents/medical attention you will need to alert the Panamanian authorities who will send a helicopter/airplane to the island to pick up a seriously injured person. Supermarkets / Food: The Island has 2 small supermarkets (basic stuff only, no fancy or imported food). It does sell wine, beer, soft drinks, juices, milk, ice, & some basic food such as rice, pasta, potatoes, vegetables, cheese, ham, eggs, sliced bread, canned & dry food, and some frozen food as chicken, meat etc. They also sell other articles like sin screen/protector, women’s hygienic pads, toilet rolls, kitchen paper rolls, napkins, cleaning materials, etc. However, the prices tends to be double the price (at least) compared with the prices of Panama City and the offerings are limited. The Island has 3-4 restaurants of which 2-3 offer pretty good food (Italian & German restaurants called "Tortuga Italian" and "Gerrard Seafood, Sal y Pimienta (Salt & Pepper) which have some great seafood! Other basic restaurants on the island (Fondas) offering only basic stuff such as daily Panamanian lunches, club sandwiches, hamburgers, pizza etc. (mainly in the day time).
