Our neighborhood is really safe. You'll get a feel for diffrent restaurants, shops , boutiques, chocolate stores and grocery stores. There is a park with exercise equipment, tennis and picket ball courts two blocks away. The streets are covered with tall trees that provide shade on the way there. Also one block away join the Chess enthusiasts at the chess park, where we can learn from real professionals and if you dare take a chance at a turn. The space The property has been recently updated. It has highcealings and Large impact Windows that keep the noise out and the cool in. The property has Two entrances so you can use the one closes to your room, this will allow you to come in and out wheneveryou please, one entrance in the front and one in the rear by the courtyard. The home has a large shared kitchen, living room ,dining room and two bathrooms that are shared with the airbnb guest that rent the other rooms. The only private space you will have is your room that comes with a keyed entry. Outside we have a courtyard, meditation/yoga deck and garden. several outside seating areas and swing. Exciting news! 🌟 We've just added a cozy fire pit and serene meditation deck to our backyard for you to enjoy during your stay. Please remember to follow our fire safety rules and use these amenities at your own risk. Happy relaxing!" Here are some fire safety rules you can include: Always supervise the fire pit when in use. Keep a bucket of water or a hose nearby for emergencies. Use only designated firewood or fire starters; do not burn trash or other materials. Ensure the fire is fully extinguished before leaving the area or going to bed. Keep a safe distance from the fire pit, especially for children. Avoid wearing loose-fitting clothing that could easily catch fire. Refrain from using accelerants such as gasoline to start or revive the fire. Follow any additional local regulations or restrictions regarding outdoor fires. Surgery Recovery Stay Policy If you are staying for surgery recovery, there is an additional fee of $50.00 per day. Replacement fees for damaged or stained items are as follows: Pillows: $7.00 each Fitted sheet or flat sheet: $12.00 each Comforter: $35.00 Towels: $10.00 each if damaged Bed cover: $17.00 if damaged Mattress: $1,000.00 if damaged Additionally, due to the nature of surgery recovery and the possibility of biohazard materials being involved, there may be an extra cleaning fee of up to $200.00 depending on the condition of the room at checkout. Guest access Private room and the rest of the home is shared Other things to note Updated House rules Notice: Hello We are pleased have you with us, here are some important house rules and common courtesy practices for shared spaces. Housekeeping: Cleaning to all common areas and your room is provided before your arrival and after your departure. In a shared home you are not paying for daily housekeeping during stay and therefor it is your responsibility to clean up after yourself on all common areas usage this includes: Bathrooms (showers, toilets, sink, floors and if mats are dirty) Kitchen( counters, tables, stove, there should be no food residue or dishes left in the sink or anywhere) Floors( After kitchen, bathroom and common area use sweap and mop accordingly) Garbage and trash removal (green cans for trash and blue cans for recycling are on the side of the house. New bags are under the sink) Mopping( Cleaning products are under the kitchen sink, one to two caps full of cleaning product is recommended. Hose for filling the mopping bucket are at the rear of the house on the left hand side past the white gate, please make sure mop is cleaned after use and put to dry outside after straining) If you notice a guest used an area and didn't clean up after themselves please let us know and an extra cleaning fee will be applied to their stay. Extra cleaning towels and extra shower mats are located in the linen closet next to the front bathroom. Mop, bucket, vacuum and Broom are located in the back living room accordian closet. All cleaning liquids are located under the kitchen sink. 1. Quiet hours are from 10 pm to 6 am. Always maintain a low level of noise to respect other guests. 2. The front door should be locked each time you enter or exit the home. Helps keep the AC in the home and your place nice and cool. 4. Non-slip shower mats should be hung on the drying rack inside the shower. 5. Flush toilet after every use. 6. Additional bedding, towels, and rags can be found in the side cabinets next to the front restroom. Dirty pieces can be placed in the hamper inside the bathrooms. Please let us know if additional toilet paper is needed. 7.Mark your food with your room number(dry and refrigerated) with the stickers located in the kitchen. Extra stickers and a marker are provided upon request) 8. If you are frying please open the window and close it when your done. 9. If you are parking your vehicle in the front,please send us the tag number. 10. Follow firepit safety rules, maintinaing a safe distance and preparing the hose next to the pit for any emergencies. 11. Washer, Dryer and detergent have a one week cost of $10.00 or a one month cost of $30.00. Pet Policy Pets are allowed only with prior written approval before check-in. Guests must disclose the type, size, and number of pets. Approved pets must remain supervised, clean, quiet, and under control at all times. Pets are not allowed on beds, sofas, pillows, linens, towels, curtains, or upholstered furniture. Guests are responsible for cleaning up all pet waste immediately and for preventing urine, odor, scratching, chewing, fleas, stains, or damage. The pet fee covers normal additional cleaning only. It does not cover urine, feces, odor treatment, damaged furniture, damaged bedding, scratched doors/walls, ruined rugs, mattress contamination, or excessive cleaning. Any damage, odor removal, replacement, or professional cleaning required because of a pet will be charged to the guest at actual cost with photos, receipts, or invoices. Unauthorized pets, undisclosed pets, or pets left loose in shared areas may result in cancellation of the reservation, additional cleaning charges, and damage reimbursement requests through the platform. Service animals are not pets and are handled according to applicable law and platform policy. Guests remain responsible for actual damage caused by an animal.
