Cosy One Bed South Downs Annexe

Forget your worries in this spacious and serene space. Just steps away from the popular South Downs Way. Then if you’ve had enough peace, head in to Brighton, only 2 stops on the Bus (bus stop outside the property, last bus into Brighton on a Saturday is around 6.30pm). Don’t fancy cooking? Then cross the road to the Jack & Jill pub (5 minutes walk) or head off to picturesque Ditchling, the next Village, for many more beautiful country pubs and cafes. The space This self contained Annexe has its own access and you can come and go as you please. The Annexe comprises: bedroom with standard sized double bed, bedside table, wardrobe; separate wc; shower room with sink; large cupboard for coats and boots; living area with small equipped kitchenette (including gas hob, oven, grill; microwave; toaster; kettle); small dining table and chairs; desk with desk chair; 2 sofas (one of them is a sofa bed - see note below); coffee table; Bluetooth Speaker; TV (Sky channels, Netflix). There is a comfortable sofabed in the main living space of the Annexe (there is a photo showing this under the ‘additional photos’ section) and so we can accommodate an extra person, at an additional £15 per night for up to 2 nights, reducing to £10 per night for stays of 3 nights or more. If there are only 2 of you in total staying in the Annex and one of you would like to use the Sofabed, the additional charge will be £10 per night for stays of up to 2 nights. or £5 per night for 3 nights or more. Please let me know before you arrive if you’d like this and I’ll sort out the bedding. We are at the foot of the South Downs, you have great views from the Annexe and it’s easy to get straight up onto the top of the Downs right next to the Jack & Jill windmills. There are many beautiful walks straight from the door, not all of them uphill! There is a footpath next to our house which runs directly to Hassocks (about a 20min walk to Hassocks train station). Guest access You have your own access to the Annex and can come and go as you please. You also have access to our garden through your patio doors in the warmer months - we are very happy to fence our dog off at the other end of the garden. Please note that the front door will not open from the outside without the key, so please take it with you if you go outside!
