Gesäßhof in the Odenwald - Loft
Gesäßhof in the Odenwald - Loft
Description
The Gesäßhof is idyllically located in a secluded valley near Reichelsheim in the Odenwald. Sculptor Henning Wittmann carefully transformed the approximately 500-year-old half-timbered farmhouse into a cultural site and restored it artistically with sustainable materials. The loft has been elaborately and meticulously designed and has a kitchen island, a private bathroom, a bunk bed and sofa bed, a view to the west and a balcony. A place of peace and paradise for nature lovers. The space The loft is on the 2nd floor of the servants' house and was elaborately designed with sustainable materials by Henning himself - for example, the roof insulation is made of hemp, on the floor there are oak planks. The bathroom was designed with Italian tiles by Marazzi. In the living room is the modular sofa Trio by Cor - a design vintage piece. The wrought-iron objects such as the kitchen or balcony as well as some of the lights were also made by him. Guests sleep on the bunk bed above the bathroom. In addition, there is a bed and the couch available. The loft has a separate private entrance. From the balcony you have a fantastic view towards the sunrise in the east over the valley in the morning. Next to the loft the stream splashes, you only hear nature - the absolute tranquility. Extensive outdoor facilities are available for guests: the courtyard and the green area around it, several terraces, garden and access to the stream. In the Gesäßhof, social togetherness is lived, we are all on a first-name basis here. We also rent other rooms with common areas for groups. Henning also offers sculpture classes. We appreciate and respect people, animals and nature. We have sheep, a cat and the sheepdog Waja. Other things to note The Gesäßhof is particularly suitable for groups, but also for individual travelers. Our 7 rooms, the tiny house and the 2 construction trailers can be occupied as a group. We also rent the loft and the tiny house individually. In addition, we offer camping pitches (group or individual). All rooms, the loft, the tiny house and the construction trailers are self-catering. The ambience is rustic, but we ask that you do not enter the accommodations with outdoor shoes, as wooden floorboards have been newly laid here. All rooms, the shared kitchen, the dining room and the yoga barn are unheated – except for the Blue Salon and the loft. There is also Wi-Fi Internet in the Gesäßhof (rather slow). Minimum per group or individual traveler is 3 nights. Groups: The Gesäßhof can accommodate groups of 4 to 18 people. For more people, there is the option of a mattress camp in the yoga barn. If a group books the Gesäßhof, it has the courtyard to itself – so there is no other group on site, only possibly individual travelers in the loft or in the tiny house. The group (occupancy room, the tiny house, construction trailers, campsite) shares the shared kitchen, the dining room, the shared bathroom. In the servants' house there is also a bathroom available. The group can use the courtyard, outdoor facilities and yoga barn for group work or celebrations. Group bookings are possible from a number of 4 people. Individual travelers: For individual travelers, the loft, the tiny house and the camping pitches are available. The loft is self-sufficient with its own kitchen and bathroom. The tiny house shares a shared kitchen, dining room and shared bathroom with the other guests. Celebrations: If you want to celebrate at the Gesäßhof, this is possible, especially because we have almost no neighbors. There are various options to celebrate outdoors or indoors. You can dance in the workshop, where we like to set up a bar. We also have a mobile disco system. We are happy to help you plan your celebration. Season/heating: Most sleeping options are unheated, so we only rent in the warmer seasons from April to September. The loft and the Blue Salon can be heated with a wood-burning stove. Please bring: Bed linen (cover pillow 90 x 90 cm, cover blanket 135 x 200 cm, fitted sheet depending on bed size), towels, slippers. We provide: Room, loft and tiny house: pillows, blankets Kitchen: all utensils, dish towels, dish soap Bathroom: toilet paper Pets: Basically possible, but only by prior arrangement
