A beautiful converted barn in the heart of the Charente, Chez le Merle is the perfect location for a relaxed family getaway. This four bedroom house has a host of amenities including your own private pool and petanque court, making sure you're never bored as you relax in the sun. Rurally located, surrounded by vines and sunflowers, Chez le Merle is fantastic for those who want to escape the hustle and bustle of urban life and enjoy the stunning French countryside. The space Living room - large sofa and additional seating, a 42inch HDTV and DVD player with a large selection of DVDs. A table with 4 chairs. Main Kitchen - A large dining table to accommodate all guests, a feature fireplace with a wood-burning stove and an impressive beamed ceiling. A cooker with an electric oven and gas hob. Microwave, filter coffee machine, fridge freezer, washing machine, and large dishwasher. Selection of pots, pans, dishes and kitchen utensils, making it a home away from home. Bedroom 1 - A double bed, wardrobe, 2 bedside tables, and a comfortable chair. Bedroom 2 - A double bed and a single day bed, a clothes rack and 2 bedside tables. Bedroom 3 - A king-size bed, wardrobe, dressing table, set of drawers and an ensuite bathroom. Bedroom 4 - this bedroom is part of a small annex which has its own kitchen with a dining area for 4, cooker with electric oven and gas hobs, fridge freezer and kitchen utensils. It also has a shower room with a toilet. It is accessible from the inside through a door from the living room and also has its own private entrance, making it ideal for family members or friend who may want their own space. The sleeping area has a double bed and is partitioned off with a large bookcase from another living area with a feature fireplace and comfortable seating area. Outside - A large patio area with a built in barbeque, dining area and umbrella. To the rear of the patio are steps which lead up to a lawned area with a petanque court and to the rear of this is the pool, which is fenced off for safety, it has an astro-turf surround, four sun loungers and a table and chairs with umbrella.
