Picturesque cosy Canalside shepherd hut. With lovely countryside views towards the river Usk. In the village of Talybont on Usk offering huge range of activities. Perfect location to explore the Brecon Beacons National Park & a relaxing break for two. In walking distance to a local shop & three great pubs, offering local brewed beers & homecooked food! Fantastic for walking, cycling, hiking, kayaking, & access to the canal. Explore Welsh waterfalls & local mountain peaks inc Pen y Fan. The space A cosy Shepherd hut for two, with a very comfortable double bed with duvet, pillows, linen and towels provided. Table for two with a lovely view of the canal and fields. The kitchen includes a electric two ring hob, ceramic sink, fridge and everything you need to dine for two. We can even provide meals or a welcome hamper if required! Wood burning fire, with plenty of wood provided. From April to October experience the rare sighting of Ospreys who have nested in a old oak tree near by. Bring your binoculars. Enjoy the birdsong, Relax and enjoy! Guest access Osprey is situated in a private field near to the carpark with views over the fields. The shower block and toilets are in the next field, a short walk away. The next field has access to the canal if you would like to launch a canoe, Kayak or paddle board. Other things to note Short walk to the toilet and shower block. Please bring a torch, as there is limited outdoor lighting.
