Large bourgeois house typical of the North in red bricks with blue woodwork. We are pleased to welcome you to La Villa Marguerite, where we have lived for 20 years now, with our two children, Pierre and Marie. Built in 1903, in a typical Belle Époque seaside style, this beautiful sleeping beauty immediately charmed us. We renovated it with patience and passion, trying to preserve its soul while making it comfortable and welcoming. The space *** All bed linen, towels, shower mat, hygiene products are provided. *** The WHITE BEDROOM On the 2nd floor, left door, the WHITE ROOM opens onto a 180 x 200 bed, and is equipped with an overhead projector. The bathroom is equipped with a shower, sink, toilet, & towel dryer It overlooks the rooftops of the city - bed linens (fitted sheets, duvet covers, mattress covers, pillows with protective covers and pillowcases, duvets) - bathroom linen (bath towels and shower mats) - hygiene products (such as shower gel, shampoo, toilet paper...) as well as a hairdryer - Wi-Fi We are close (10-minute walk) from the Grand'Place (market on Saturday morning, restaurants, breweries and cafés, Le Moulin à Café theater), the exceptional Public Garden, the Sandelin Museum, the Notre Dame Cathedral, the Tourist Office, the Court, the Maison du Marais, the cinema, the Jesuit Chapel, or the Saint-Bertin ruins. 5-minute walk: the Station and the Coworking La Station area. A few minutes by car: - the nature barn with its bird observatory (the marsh listed as a UNESCO heritage site) and boat rental at the Faiseurs de Bateaux, the Clairmarais forest, the craft brewery of the Clairmarais Abbey, the Belles Échappées, - The GOUDALE Brewery (to visit!), the aquatic complex and the Sceneo theater, the Arques glassworks (ARC France, visit by reservation), the Fontinettes boat lift (Arques) - bowling, karting (Saint-Martin-les-Tatinghem) - the Helfaut Dome (historical center of the Second World War and 3D planetarium) - Lumbres golf course Parking is free on our street. And if you come by bike, you can put them in the garden. Guest access Check-in time: between 5:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. If you plan on arriving sooner or later, please let us know in advance so that we can accommodate you in the best conditions. Check-out time: before 10 a.m. This allows us to prepare the place for the next guests. Thank you. During your stay Breakfast (€15 per person to be paid on site) Breakfast, carefully prepared from fresh, homemade and mostly organic products, is served: from 7:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m., in the dining room or on the terrace depending on the season. Don't hesitate to let us know in advance of any food intolerance or special preference. Table d'hôtes (€30 per person by reservation) We offer dinner at the table d'hôtes some evenings of the week, exclusively by reservation. Service at 7:30 p.m., in a friendly atmosphere around seasonal products and from the region or directly from the vegetable garden.
