Your Gorgeous Start to Every Day

Our lovely homestead tucked into acres of lush rural landscape is superbly situated to be your base in Darfield and all the surrounding magic of Waikirikiri Selwyn. Whether you're adventure-kayaking the Waimak, ski-touring Hutt and Porters, adventuring into the alps, or just working or relaxing in rural Canterbury, we've got your spot of daily comfort cosy and ready for you. The space Your peace and privacy are assured with dedicated washroom, full laundry facilities, hot tub and large section to wander. Your bedroom is directly opposite the hall from your private bathroom, for your exclusive use with toilet, twin basins, luxurious bath and generous shower. Your room features a mirrored double wardrobe and bedside cabinets for your comfort. Down the hall are laundry facilities and a toilet which are spaces you'll share with us, as you will the lounge, dining area and kitchen. We're generally pretty busy and discrete. Outside you'll find our spa, comfortable dining spaces, our mammoth section and - when the season is right - our swimming pool. Guest access The rooms you won't have access to are our office, our bedrooms, playroom (unless by request) and our bathroom. Let us know if anything is unclear! During your stay We work from home so are generally easy to catch up with. We have a baby and toddler. So there may be a little noise here and there and some intermittent mess. We also have two cats (Phantom - female long-hair - and Britt - male short-hair), who live indoors for the most part, and Oksi our Samoyed/Husky puppy who is the same age as our son. She's boisterous but well trained. Let us know if you're nervous around animals and we'll ask them to give you space. Please note that while our pets live in our home, they are discouraged from spending time in your room.
