Welcome to the Nottawa Post Office Inn! A cozy get away situated in the quaint village of Nottawa just 5 minutes south of downtown Collingwood and 15 minutes from Blue Mountain & Wasaga Beach. Enjoy a self contained suite with private entrance while being conveniently located within a two minute walk to the village variety store, LCBO, local Pub restaurant, cafe and art gallery. Perfect location to leave your car parked while finding all you need to make your stay a pleasant one. The space A cozy private suite attached to a historic home in the quaint village of Nottawa. The main house was built in 1920 by a Collingwood ship Captain named Captain Hawman. The recently renovated suite was historically part of the home that housed the Nottawa Post Office and was a central part of daily life. Situated on highway 124 just 2 km directly south of downtown Collingwood, and approximately a 15 minute drive to either Wasaga Beach or The Town of Blue Mountains we are close to all Georgian Bay has to offer. Please note this is suite is not family friendly and not suitable for small children. Guest access This cozy self-sufficient unit has a private entrance, small kitchenette, private bath, gas fireplace (available seasonally), outdoor seating and great location. There is a door code for easy access and convenience. *Please note we are on well water and it is not potable - please use the water provided. Other things to note It is important to remember this home is over a hundred years old and has the charm and quirks that come with age. I ask that you be mindful of the fact we are on septic system and NOTHING except toilet paper can be flushed into the system. Additionally, we are on well water and it is NOT potable, please use the water provided for your drinking needs. Please note the gas fireplace will be turned off during the summer months in order to keep the suite cool and comfortable.
