The space A bright and airy four bedroom property in Fontiers Plaisance. Lots of space for families or groups of friends, with two bathrooms, a large living and dining area and a balcony and bbq overlooking the private swimming pool. Kitchen fully equipped with all utensils and cookware needed to cook meals for during your stay. Dishwasher, fridge, microwave, stove etc. As mentioned there is also a charcoal bbq on the balcony for another cooking option! The balcony is a gorgeous spot to relax with a coffee and a pastry in the morning and take in the tranquility - on a clear day you can see the Pyrenees in the distance! The property boasts a spacious garden with table tennis table (bats and balls provided) and table and chairs for dining, leading to a downstairs poolside area with gorgeous swimming pool, sun loungers, pool toys such as noodles and balls etc plus yoga mats too! There is an adjoining room with pool table to enjoy games of pool (billiards) looking out upon the swimming pool! The swimming pool is fully private and surrounded by a large laurel hedge for privacy. It really is a wonderful spot to relax/read/swim/sunbathe. Shop and bar/restaurant 10 min walk medieval village. The local shop has all the staples you need such as fresh pastries and bread, milk, fruit and veg, tins and toiletries and a small offering of snacks, wine and beer etc. note that this is closed on Thursdays! Instead, you can drive to Carrefour Express in Saissac which is a 15min drive away. You can also do a larger shop at either Carrefour or Leclerc in the industrial estate 25min drive away where there are other retail and food stores and here it has absolutely anything you need! The local bar The 620 has delicious pizzas and other a la carte meals and even has a live music night every other Wednesday evening. This is a great option for a morning coffee or an afternoon drink. There are fantastic walking routes in the Black Mountains on the doorstep. There are plenty of routes that can be started and finished from the house itself and clearly signposted along the way. Narbonne coast one hour drive. Ski resort in Pyrenees one and a half hours drive. Many other country restaurants are within 15 mins. Guest access Guests will use the entire house.
