Mixon View

Mixon View, awarded 5 stars by Visit England, has been developed from a 17th century traditional stone barn into a luxury one bedroom cottage overlooking traditional farmland towards the hamlet of Mixon high on the Staffordshire Moorlands. The space Mixon View is of exceptionally high standard providing stylish accommodation for couples plus a baby/infant. Downstairs is open plan with comfy leather sofa, dining table for romantic meals for two, smart TV, Morso wood burner and well equipped kitchen with hob, oven, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, etc. A solid oak staircase leads past an original exposed feature stone wall to a spacious mezzanine bedroom with king-sized bed, TV and glazed balustrade overlooking the stairs. A large en-suite shower room with quality fittings also features original exposed stone walling. There is electric heating throughout. For the baby/infant, there is a travel cot (please bring own bedding), a high chair, stair gate at top of stairs and a fireguard. There are views across traditional Peak District farmland from the living area and bedroom. Leading off the living space is a large enclosed private patio with seating, charcoal BBQ and views across traditional farmland where sheep graze. There is free parking in the courtyard directly outside the cottage and an EV Charger for guests. Due to the nature of our holiday properties and the open fields with livestock, we do not accept dogs. Guest access Guests have sole access to the whole of Mixon View including a private, fenced patio at the rear of the property. Other things to note There is a large secure garage for storing bikes or motorbikes. EV charging is charged at 30p per kWh. Guests will need their own type 2 charging cable.
