Puffin tent pitch

Adult only (over 14s). A truly private campsite with only 4 tent pitches. A stunning, level, sand-based camp area on an 8-acre, lakeside, rewilding project. Showers, compost toilets, undercover washing up area. Natural toiletries provided FREE. Each pitch comes with its own canvas tarp shelter and firepit. Toast marshmallows on the fire and watch the amazing sunsets over the lake. Greener Camping Club membership required - £12 pa. Join at the time of booking or upon arrival. The space The site comprises of a sand-based camping area (that means no mud - ever!) with amenities within 50m of any pitch. There are paths around the site allowing you to explore and relax in this glorious wildlife-rich haven. There is no vehicle access but barrows are provided for your convenience and we are happy to help if you need an extra pair of hands. There are a plethora of rescue animals on site, kept well away from the rewilding. We have goats, sheep, ducks and hens - which means there are fresh eggs available to purchase daily. Guest access You are free to roam all areas on site, we simply ask that you stick to the paths and observe and signage. You are not permitted to enter any of the animal enclosures. Other things to note We are a Greener Camping Company 'Member Only site'. However, you can join on site upon arrival. Membership is £12 per year and only one member of your party needs to join. For that, you will be able to visit a huge selection of GCC campsites, all sharing the same environmental ethos. Prices are per pitch, for 2 adults. Additional guests and tents may be accommodated for a small additional cost providing they fit within the pitch boundaries.
