Stay awhile in our charming mid-century home on a hill in East Atlanta Village, conveniently located to all Atlanta has to offer. Don’t stay too busy though — you won’t want to miss spending time in your own oasis in the city. Our sprawling, beautifully landscaped backyard is fully fenced with deck, patio, lighting, kitchen garden, and more. Very comfortably accommodates four guests, with a trundle bed in the office that gives you space for two more! The space LIVING ~ You’ll feel right at home in the open living space with tons of natural light, comfortable seating, TV, and easy access to the spacious backyard. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything needed for a great home cooked meal. If you like to cook, you'll be pleased to find a Dutch oven, KitchenAide mixer, mini food processor, cookbooks for inspo, and more. BEDS & BATHS ~ Primary: This bedroom is luxurious and private, with a comfortable queen bed, walk-in closest, and large bath ensuite. The primary bath includes a double vanity, a huge shower with a dual shower head, and a bluetooth sound system for all your best shower solos (or morning podcasts if that's your jam). Bedroom 2: Curl up with a book in the cozy full bed that looks out into the private backyard. Bedroom 3: Depending on your needs, this room can be a dedicated office space or a bedroom with two twin beds in the trundle daybed (ideal for the kids!). The second bathroom is easily accessible to the secondary bedrooms and living space. This bathroom is small but bright, with a shower and deep bathtub. OUTDOOR OASIS ~ The fully fenced backyard has it all: a huge lawn, a deck with a large dining table and cantilever umbrella, a patio for lounging, fire pit, and much more! Other things to note In a big storm, you may hear the sump pump kick in (it’s under the primary bedroom). Absolutely no smoking of any kind inside the home. This includes the use of e-cigs/vape. Our fire alarms have a night light that switches on with motion or change in lighting. This lasts just about 10 seconds. After booking your stay, you can add guests in your travel group to the reservation and they will be able to join the Airbnb message thread. We only give out check-in instructions via Airbnb, including the Wi-Fi password and the property address. We have hosted animals in the past. There are rugs and fabric furniture. We cannot host guests with allergies to pet hair or dander. Congratulations, you’ve found the secret phrase! We love having a house on a hill, but it does mean you have to navigate a “steep driveway” — please be careful. The driveway flattens at the top of the hill and includes a covered carport. Include the phrase "steep driveway" in your booking request to show us that you have read the property description. Due to this, we can only hosts guests with the ability to climb a hill. We do not offer refunds for guests that find trouble with the steep driveway since we disclose this. If you park on the street, you will have to climb the hill. If you park in the carport, your car will need to be strong enough to go up the hill. Thank you!
