Scandi inspired central townhouse

Welcome to your Scandi inspired, home-away-from-home oasis in the heart of the Conservation area of Penzance. This end-of-terrace house on a tranquil no-through street is a short walk to the train/bus station, town centre and the beach of Long Rock and St Michael’s Mount. Here, you can enjoy everything Penzance and its breathtaking surrounding area has to offer at close reach. After a long day of exploration, you'll come back home to a comfortable and quiet sanctuary. The space This is a renovated townhouse in the 'battlefield' area of Penzance. The house has an open plan which offers lots of natural light and a spacious, airy feel. The atmosphere is cosy and the Scandi inspired interior adds a modern touch. During the colder months, a log burner makes the house super cosy. All three bedrooms and the bathroom are upstairs. Two of the bedrooms have a double bed each and the third bedroom has a bunk bed with two single beds. Each bed has its own reading light, and each room has either a closet or clothes rail. Beds are comfortable with fluffy bedding and sound proof windows. Linen and towels are included. A baby travel cot is available at request. It’s located just a few minutes walk away from the vibrant pedestrian street of Causeway head, full of independent shops, cafés, bakeries, bars, restaurants, galleries and a cinema. It’s the gateway to the heart of Penzance, leading you down to the seafront and the Scillonian ferry, Jubilee Pool and the lively promenade. If you walk in the other direction you’ll find Long Rock and Marazion beaches. These are some of the most family friendly and accessible beaches around, and Long Rock beach is dog friendly all year round! There is on-street parking on the streets around the house. It works on a first come, first serve basis - if there’s not space outside the house there’s always space no more than a minute's walk away. There are also several car parks in the town centre, including those with EV charging bays. All amenities are free of charge for our guests, but we do take our environmental responsibility seriously and we ask you to be mindful with your water and energy use. All the hygienic and cleaning products we provide are cruelty free and biodegradable. Guest access You will have access to the entire house (except for some storage areas) throughout your stay. This is a self-contained holiday let. We provide you with the essentials (toilet paper, coffee, tea etc) to last you your first night so that you can relax when you arrive. Other things to note The house has central heating which is managed remotely but always set to room temperature (18-21 degrees) to be cosy and comfortable. The fire place offers extra heat, please read the instructions in the house manual before use. Whilst we can provide guests with a travel cot and a high chair for children, the house is not equipped with e.g gates by the staircase etc. Free street parking: Available parking on our street is not guaranteed but there's often space. As it’s a residential area, it depends on what time of day you park. For example in the evening when everyone is back from work fewer spaces are available. The same in the peak of high season. When our street is full there's usually space on surrounding streets no more than a minute's walk away.
