Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space. From the Highway into Powerhouse Road Cloncurry Constructions is on the Right, drive along Powerhouse Road approx 700 metres to 15 Powerhouse Road on Left. When entering 15 Powerhouse Road it is the lane between the house yard and the old stable shed. Closing which ever gates are shut. White double steel gates to enter lane then swing right to units . The space We have three ensuited rooms available for any period of time from overnight stays to short or mid term packages - please contact me for discounted packages. We have an outdoor kitchen/bar area, where you will be able to use to cook meals etc. There is a full size fridge/freezer, microwave, air fryer, bbq, kettle and toaster, as well as plates, cutlery and basic utensils. There is currently no sink plumbed in so if you leave dirty dishes there, I will take care of them. There is a dining table, as well as an outdoor couch, and extra chairs. This area is communal so please be aware that other guests, as well as myself and my family will frequently be in this area. There will often be other people's food and drinks in the fridge so please do not help yourself. We run a fire pit by the bar area in winter months to warm up and enjoy the serenity. There is an outdoor washing machine located in a laundry shed, next to the clothesline in my garden yard. I am happy for guests to use this, however prefer you not to pass through my yard for other purposes. There is a beautiful dirt walking track along the Cloncurry River, which starts only a few hundred meters from the premises. Alternatively, you can walk along the paved walking track all the way out to Chinaman Creek Dam. As Cloncurry is only a small town, it is only a 2 minute drive into the hub, where there are numerous pubs and restaurants, as well as takeaway options. Pets are allowed, but I would prefer larger dogs to be kept in the kennels I have available. As we have horses, and sometimes poddy calves, all gates must be kept shut after driving through to ensure animals don't get out onto the road. Powerhouse Road is a very safe part of town, with a lot of neighbours that look out for each other and report strange behaviour, so please feel at ease here, however it is your responsibilty if any of your personal items go missing. Each room has a key, and if the key is not found after your visit, you will be charged a $50 fee. I like to keep the atmosphere friendly and will often socialise with guests when I am home, however I do understand many people like their own space so will respect your wishes. If you need any assistance during your stay, I am happy for you to contact me. I look forward to sharing my first stage of our growing journey of Air BnB at Anabranch Lodge with you.
