The Milk House at Hereford Grove Farm is a completely renovated efficiency space located on a beautiful, 128 acre, historic farm. All facilities are brand new and modern. Come experience the magic of this unique and tranquil getaway for two. The pastoral setting includes breathtaking views and sunsets, beautiful barns, a spring-fed pond, and nearby grazing cattle. The farm is a great setting for pets. Due to the size of the Milk House, only one pet is allowed and no cats are permitted. The space The farm's Milk House has been turned into a completely renovated efficiency space (600 square feet) with an alcove sleeping area including a king bed; full bath with "rain" shower head; full kitchen with island seating for three, complete cooking and serving equipment including induction stovetop; a sitting area with a couch and end tables; and a wall mounted TV that swivels to be watched from the bed or the couch. There are room darkening window treatments on every window. Guests are welcome to explore all 128 acres, including the spring-fed pond near the main Farm House. The main Farm House has three bedrooms and is also listed on Airbnb - a perfect place if you need more space for additional guests. The Milk House has separate parking and is far enough from the Farm House so that complete privacy is enjoyed. There may be guests at the Farm House during your stay at the Milk House. Please note that the use of the fire pit is limited to Farm House guests only. You are welcome to explore the entire farm as well as walk along the quiet street. Enjoy the breath taking views and sunsets! Since the property is surrounded by natural areas, it's not uncommon to encounter insects, such as bees and wasps, especially during warmer months. While we make every effort to minimize their presence, guests with allergies should take their usual precautions. Guest access Parking is available for two cars on the street side of the Milk House. Visitors can also experience the Catoctin Mountain Park and hike the Chimney Rock and Wolf Rock trails, as well as Cunningham Falls State Park in nearby Thurmont, MD.
