Or just relax on a hammock and enjoy the night-time sounds. Solo, couples, or families are welcomed along with pets on a leash. Go fishing in our small pond, or hang out in the garden. This is a working family farm with goats, chickens, lambs, cows, horses, bees, and many more farm animals. Learn to take care of baby chicks or milk a cow. We run a full-time halal pastured-raised farm business. Wake to the sounds of the roosters crowing and eat dinner while enjoying a picturesque view of the farm animals grazing in the pasture behind the home. Our chickens are free range so they are roaming the yard most of the time. The ducks waddle around the farm and may come quacking by for a morsel of bread crumbs if you would like to throw them a treat. Full disclosure: Although the farm is peaceful most of the time it is a farm complete with the sound of crowing, quacking, braying, and mooing. Sometimes there are geese honking, a dog barking and goat nays. All of the farm animals include the smell of the farm if the wind is blowing right. Bring boots for visiting the animals, especially in the winter months when the grass is dead and it is rainy. Please note that this is a farm in the country, and there is always the possibility of encountering critters like bugs, spiders, lizards, etc. We want our guest to enjoy the full farm experience. We do ask that farm tours be scheduled with host supervision. Feel free to visit the animals at the fence. We ask that you do not enter any animal enclosures for your and the animals safety. All of our animals are safe to be around adults and children. We just ask that you monitor your children at all times while on the property.
