Description

Welcome to a charming seaside retreat in a former architect's villa. "Irori experience" grilling locally acclaimed dried fish, vegetables, gibier, etc. is the ultimate luxury regardless of the season. Fuji and the setting sun. In a word, this retreat is ideal for anyone seeking a shift from city life. The space The exterior is a symmetrical concrete block structure like an Okinawan house, but the interior, with its rounded space and Irori((a traditional Japanese hearth), was inspired by “kamakura(Japanese igloo-like hut)”. The soft curves and the white of the plaster walls are interspersed with wood and gray colors, and the light bulbs which are hung irregularly and their coloring add warmth and serenity. The plastered "Irori" installed over the solid oak flooring is a symbolic presence that makes this space unique. Feel and enjoy the “Kamakura” inspiration.
